Louisiana Wheat Acreage Continues to Drop

Winter wheat has definitely become a minor crop in Louisiana, and planted acreage has dropped once again this year. USDA's National Ag Statistics Service released the 2017 Delta States Small Grains Summary Friday, showing our state's planted wheat acreage dropping to 20,000 acres, down from 25,000 last year.
