Sweet Potato Field Day Slated for August 17th

BASTROP — LSU AgCenter scientists will showcase their 2017 sweet potato research demonstration plots at a field day on Aug. 17 in Bastrop. The event will be held at the Venoy Kinnaird farm, 16388 Old Bonita Road, which is home to the Gallion Potato Company. Registration will begin at 9 a.m., and field tours at 9:30 a.m.
