Teacher Honored for Integrating Agriculture in Class Lessons

WATSON — Livingston Parish educator Karen Parrino, who was recently selected as the Ag in the Classroom Elementary Teacher of the Year for Louisiana, approaches her teaching responsibilities with the philosophy that children are never too young to be taught the valuable lesson of the role that agriculture plays in society.
