Louisiana Chick Placements Down 4 Percent from Last Year

Broiler-type chicks placed for meat production in Louisiana were 3.18 million during the week ending May 20, 2017. Placements were down 4 percent from the comparable week in 2016 and down 4 percent from the previous week.
