Louisiana Chick Placements Down 13 Percent from Last Year

Broiler-type chicks placed for meat production in Louisiana were 2.63 million during the week ending November 4, 2017. Placements were down 13 percent from the comparable week in 2016 and down 11 percent from the previous week.
