Louisiana Sugarcane Harvest Nears the Halfway Point

Louisiana sugarcane farmers are ahead of schedule getting the 2017 crop to the mills, according to the latest Louisiana Crop Progress and Condition Report.  Sugarcane harvest is now 45 percent complete, well ahead of the five-year average pace of 38%
