Louisiana Ratoon Rice Not Enough to Make Up From First Crop Yields

Rice farmers across south Louisiana are wrapping up the harvest of their ratoon or second crop. This year’s second crop yield has been good, but it will not offset the disappointing harvest of the first crop.
