Louisiana Chick Placements Up 25 Percent from Last Year

Broiler-type chicks placed for meat production in Louisiana were 3.27 million during the week ending November 18, 2017. Placements were up 25 percent from the comparable week in 2016 and up 14 percent from the previous week.
