Cotton & Sweet Potato Harvest Wrapping Up; Wheat Planting Underway

Louisiana cotton and sweet potato harvest are both nearly done, according to Monday's Louisiana Crop Progress and Condition Report. Cotton is now 94 percent harvested, with sweet potatoes at 96 percent. Winter wheat planting is underway, with 27 percent of the crop in the ground.
