Louisiana Chick Placements Down 3 Percent from Last Year

Broiler-type chicks placed for meat production in Louisiana were 2.63 million during the week ending November 19, 2016. Placements were down 3 percent from the comparable week in 2015 and down 6 percent from the previous week.
