HOLLY RIDGE, La. - Arkansas and Louisiana are the two largest rice producing states in the entire country.
As relations improve with Cuba, Congressman Ralph Abraham says opening trade with Cuba could help grow agriculture across Northeast Louisiana.
Cuba imports crops like rice from distant countries, when it could readily receive goods shipped directly out of the port of New Orleans...benefitting both Cubans and farmers here at home.
