It’s estimated that around 30% of the nation’s beef herds are raised in the Texas panhandle. In the last two weeks, wildfires have already destroyed more than one million acres.

Over in Assumption Parish, you’re looking at 80,000 pounds of crushed sugar cane earmarked for Texas and their ranchers.
