Cattle Producers of Louisiana

November is here and so is the drought. Over 90% of Louisiana, as of the first two weeks in November, is in severe to extreme drought. Cattle receipts at our local sale barns stayed high through October due in part to drought and high cattle prices. These numbers will decrease as we go into December.
