February is the shortest month of the year, yet it has many “events” that affects the cattle business. Groundhog Day on Feb. 2 is something to ponder, if the groundhog sees his shadow there will be six more weeks of winter. He saw his shadow therefore, so the saying goes, our folks up North may be concerned.
