LSU Block and Bridle Rodeo 2021
The Block and Bridle Club at LSU’s 83rd Annual Rodeo will be held November 5th and 6th, 2021 at Parker Coliseum on LSU’s campus. The members of LSU Block and Bridle create, organize and put on this yearly tradition.
Friday night's rodeo is specifically for college students in Louisiana to compete in. This night includes traditional events like bulls, broncs, barrels, and roping, but also has fun events like buddy pickup, goat dressing, and wild cow milking just to name a few. The Friday night of rodeo is an opportunity for people from all walks of life to give the rodeo world their best shot while not having to worry about competing against professionals. Prizes include belt buckles for traditional events and items like chairs, cups, and blankets for fun events.
Saturday night's rodeo is an open rodeo and much more competitive than Friday night's. This night is a traditional professional, money added rodeo. Along with the rodeo events, Saturday night features a drill team and clown act.
Both nights are open to the public to watch. Tickets are sold at the door. $8 for adults and $5 for children. Look out for chances to win free tickets on our Facebook page and on campus.
