When Taylor and Jadie Underwood realized they wanted to live off the land, the couple purchased 16 acres to call their own. They brought in dogs, cats, horses and chickens to share the land with them. In due time, they began selling fresh chicken eggs at their church. Eventually, they purchased their first cow. With each animal, the Underwoods kept the same goal in mind: to raise livestock but as God intended. Conventional, modern agriculture practices were out of the question.

Today, the Underwoods own 3 Board Farm in Downsville, one of the only farms in Northeast Louisiana to practice regenerative agriculture, which focuses on building soil quality and ecosystem health.
