Cotton Harvest Begins in Concordia Parish

Cotton Acreage at Tanner Gin in Frogmore, is ready for picking as harvest operations continue throughout the state. LSU AgCenter Agent Kylie Miller said the cotton harvest is starting to take off in parts of the parish. She said most “farmers are beginning to defoliate now.”
