Deadline Extended For 2020 Cotton Consultant Of The Year Award Nominations
The deadline for nominating a candidate for the 2020 Cotton Consultant of the Year has been extended to Friday, Aug. 14. Cotton consultants spend long hours in the field in an effort to make their farmer clients more profitable. If you want to recognize your consultant, nominate him or her for the prestigious 2020 Cotton Consultant of the Year (CCOY) Award. Click here to access the 2020 nomination form.
The Cotton Consultant of the Year (CCOY) Award recognizes a consultant who has made great contributions to the cotton industry through outstanding customer relations, leadership and innovation.
The prestigious award, sponsored by Syngenta and Cotton Farming magazine, celebrates its 40th anniversary this year.
The nominees are voted on by the past Cotton Consultant of the Year recipients so the award is even more special as the new recipient is chosen by his or her peers.
The Cotton Consultant of the Year Award has a rich history that began in 1981 when Bob Stanford of Flagstaff, Arizona, was honored. Last year, Eddy Cates of Marion, Arkansas, was named the 2019 Cotton Consultant of the Year. Click here to see a list of all past recipients.
The 2020 CCOY recipient will be named at a special celebration Friday, February 26, 2021, at the Peabody Hotel in Memphis, Tennessee. The winning consultant and nominator will receive a two night hotel stay and transportation to Memphis for the event. Additionally, the recipient will be featured in a four-page salute in the February 2021 issue of Cotton Farming.
