LSU AgCenter Beef Brunch Series Now Includes Bi-Weekly Updates
The Beef Brunch Educational Series has been developed by LSU AgCenter Livestock Specialists and Agents to reach producers, consultants, landowners, research, extension, and other industry members. This series consists of monthly webinars hosted through Microsoft Teams and bi-weekly news updates presented through YouTube videos. These events allow the LSU AgCenter to present research-based information, management guidelines, educational opportunities, and industry news to clientele throughout the state.
Bi-weekly News Updates feature weather and pasture conditions, a market outlook, management tips, events, and current topics in the beef industry. These videos are released every-other Monday at 10:30 am on the LSU AgCenter – Livestock channel on YouTube.
Webinars are presented as free, live events on the second Tuesday of each month at 10:30 am. LSU AgCenter Specialists will cover a wide array of topics relevant to all producers. Previous webinars included “Sustainability during Turbulent Markets” and “What’s Bugging You?” Scheduled topics for the future include weed control and management, selection of cool-season forages, nutrition and grazing, and internal parasite control. All webinars are recorded for future viewing.
Both the webinars and news updates can be found on the LSU AgCenter – Livestock channel on YouTube. Subscribing to the channel will bring you automated email alerts when a new video is available. All videos as well as information on future events can also be found on the Beef Brunch Educational Series webpage www.lsuagcenter.com/beefbrunch.
