Swamp Tours in Terrebonne, Lafourche Suffering Due to COVID-19 Pandemic

Swamp Tours, some of the biggest tourist attractions in the area, are seeing fewer customers because of the pandemic, leaving owners struggling to get by.
Local swamp tour owners from Lafourche and Terrebonne, accustomed to hosting two to three tours a day, are now often holding two to three a week. Prior to COVID-19, foreigners and field trips made up the bulk of their business, and now locals seeking a day out are keeping the tours afloat.
