Louisiana Weekly Broiler Report

Louisiana broiler-type chicks placed for meat production were 3.25 million during the week ending September 14, 2019, down 1 percent from the comparable week in 2018 but up 2 percent from the previous week. Broiler growers in the United States weekly program placed 186 million for meat production during the week ending September 14, 2019, up 2 percent from a year ago.
