Corn Planting Wrapping Up; Rice Half Done

Louisiana farmers have made quick work of getting the 2019 corn crop in the ground, with 87 percent of the crop now planted according to the latest Louisiana Crop Progress and Condition Report released Monday. The report shows rice planting now at the 49 percent mark and soybeans 9 percent complete.
