Louisiana Prospective Plantings

Louisiana corn producers intend to plant 550,000 acres, up 20 percent from the 460,000 acres planted in 2018. Upland cotton acreage intentions are at 260,000 acres, up 33 percent from the 195,000 acres planted last year. Soybean producers intend to plant 1.13 million acres in 2019, down 16 percent from last year.
