Louisiana Corn Planting Now at Full Speed

Louisiana farmers have taken advantage of dry conditions and put half of the state’s corn crop in the ground over the past week, according to the latest Louisiana Crop Progress and Condition Report. Rice planting is also moving at a rapid pace, with 25 percent of the crop now planted.
