Louisiana hatcheries set 3.33 million broiler-type eggs during the week ending November 2, 2019, down 14 percent from the comparable week in 2018 and down 14 percent from the previous week. Louisiana broiler-type chicks placed for meat production were 3.19 million during the week ending November 2, 2019, up 2 percent from the comparable week in 2018 and up 14 percent from the previous week.
