Louisiana Weekly Broiler Report

Louisiana hatcheries set 3.46 million broiler-type eggs during the week ending November 16, 2019, down 6 percent from the comparable week in 2018 and down 4 percent from the previous week. Louisiana broiler-type chicks placed for meat production were 3.56 million during the week ending November 16, 2019, up 2 percent from the comparable week in 2018 and up 8 percent from the previous week.
