Louisiana Weekly Broiler Report

Louisiana hatcheries set 3.88 million broiler-type eggs during the week ending October 19, 2019, up 4 percent from the comparable week in 2018 and up 5 percent from the previous week. Louisiana broiler-type chicks placed for meat production were 3.37 million during the week ending October 19, 2019, up 17 percent from the comparable week in 2018 and up 9 percent from the previous week.
