Louisiana Field Reports: Hot and Dry – Rice Nears Maturity

“Rice is heading out nice. Some farmers will drain their fields next week to prepare their fields for harvesting. Reports of blast are coming in, but not many. Sheath blight numbers are rising. Soybeans look good with some older fields setting pods while some fields are still in the vegetative stage.”
