Letters: Free Trade Helps Louisiana

Automobile manufacturers and the agriculture sector exist in today’s economy precisely because of this trade agreement. Meanwhile, farmers exported nearly $43 billion in goods in 2016 alone, accounting for more than a third of all U.S. agriculture exports. A significant portion of these goes through Louisiana’s ports, whose success hinges on the sustained movement of goods.
