USDA Designates West Baton Rouge Parish in Louisiana as a Primary Natural Disaster Area
WASHINGTON — The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has designated West Baton Rouge Parish in Louisiana as a primary natural disaster area due to losses and damages caused by freeze that occurred from Jan. 16, 2018, through Jan. 18, 2018. Farmers and ranchers in the contiguous East Baton Rouge, East Feliciana, Iberville, Pointe Coupee and West Feliciana parishes in Louisiana also qualify for natural disaster assistance.
