Louisiana Corn & Rice Planting Leaps Forward

Dry conditions last week allowed Louisiana farmers to get into their fields and do some serious catching up on both corn and rice planting. Corn farmers put over half of the state's crop in the ground last week, while rice planting is now well ahead of the average pace.
