The Louisiana Agriculture Consultants Association will hold its annual convention  February 14th through the 16th at the Paragon Casino/Resort in Marksville.

Association president Ashley Peters from Franklin Parish says they have a busy schedule planned for next week.

"We'll have technology updates from industry representatives as well as the opportunity to network with consultants and industry reps," said Peters.

Also on the schedule a lot of updates on the latest pesticide technologies from LSU AgCenter researchers who will also present their research findings from 2017 as well as a preview of research planned for this year "on basically all the row crops in Louisiana."

Several researchers from Mississippi and Arkansas will also present their findings from research over the past few years in their respective states and some of the trends they see coming up.

"If you attend all three days you will be re-certified and have your consultants license renewed," Peters pointed out.
