Record Sugarcane Crop Discussed at Jeanerette Meeting

JEANERETTE, La. — High tonnage and sugar content were hot topics of discussion at an LSU AgCenter meeting for Teche area sugarcane farmers on Feb. 27. Kenneth Gravois, AgCenter sugarcane specialist, summed up the 2017-18 cane crop: “A great crop, a great year.”
