Jack Dillard: It’s Time to Get Ready for Planting Season

Many acres of farmland in our Red River Valley has been prepared to catch and hold all of the moisture we are provided. It is too early to plant but not too early to “get ready” for the 2018 planting seasons. Indicators point to more soybean acres being planted at the expense of corn acres and cotton plantings should be (at least) a few more acres than were planted in 2017.
