Can King Cotton Regain Crown? Louisiana Farmer Leads Export Effort

Louisiana farmer Ted Schneider has been elected president of Cotton Council International, the export marketing and promotion arm of the National Cotton Council. "Twenty years ago the United States used 80 percent of the cotton grown here domestically; now we export 80 percent of our crop," Schneider said in an interview with USA Today Network.
