On $867 Billion Farm Bill, Bill Cassidy and John Kennedy Split Their Votes

Louisiana’s U.S. senators split their votes when the Senate approved the $867 billion farm bill to help an agriculture industry reeling from President Donald Trump’s trade war. The Senate vote on Tuesday (Dec. 11) was 87-13, with Louisiana Republican Bill Cassidy in the majority.
