Louisiana Field Reports: 2nd Rice Harvest Begins, Good Initial Yields

“Wet conditions and heavy rains kept fields damp and slowed field progress last week. Sugarcane tonnage improved while sugar levels need drier conditions and sunny weather to improve. Unharvested soybeans were heavily damaged and will likely be abandoned. Citrus and pecan harvest was in full swing.”
