Louisiana Corn Farmers in Line for Part of $1.4B Settlement

Hundreds of corn farmers throughout Louisiana will benefit from a $1.4 billion lawsuit settlement this week with the Swiss agribusiness giant Syngenta. Thousands of American farmers filed lawsuits over the company's rollout of a genetically engineered corn seed variety before China approved it for imports.
