Louisiana is Drying Out Quickly

Post-Harvey rainfall has been practically non-existent in Louisiana, helping farmers and ranchers to harvest row crops, plant sugarcane and bale hay. However, soil moisture ratings are dropping sharply with 40 percent of our soils rated short to very short on moisture, according to the latest Louisiana Crop Progress and Condition Report.
