Louisiana Requires Gardeners to Register all Cotton Plants, Even in Home Gardens

I found out that even if someone has a single cotton plant, you must fill out a form from the Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry. An inspector will be sent out to place a boll weevil trap in my yard.
