Forecast Calls for a Warmer, Dryer Spring in Louisiana

A weak La Niña is in place as we head into the winter season, based on the state of the atmosphere and ocean near the equatorial Pacific Ocean in mid-November. NOAA says that there is a 55 percent chance that a weak La Niña will persist through the entire winter ahead.
