Gov. Edwards, State Officials Hold 'Listening Session' With Agriculture Community

SLAUGHTER - In Louisiana, agriculture is an $11 billion-a-year business. "But it's not just the economic impact," Gov. John Bel Edwards said Thursday, after he and state Agriculture and Forestry Commissioner Michael Strain held a so-called "listening session" with farmers, ranchers and loggers in Slaughter. "It's a way of life."
