An enormous rice order from Iraq this week has already boosted prices and morale for Louisiana farmers. "It's a blessing," said Acadiana rice farmer Richard Fontenot, who was named the 2016 Rice Farmer of the Year by the USA Rice Federation and Rice Farming Magazine.
