Jack Dillard: State Fair of Louisiana Comes to a Close

The State Fair is a “one of a kind” that the area needs. I just feel sometimes we take things as a positive but do little to encourage letting folks know how we feel. It has been my privilege to do the Junior Livestock Auction at the fair since 1960 and as this year’s auction held on Wednesday, so many friends came by and we shared a “shake or hug” and talked a bit…the State Fair is great.
