Every fall, youngsters get a chance to shine at the State Fair of Louisiana, showing the livestock they've raised all year. Mason Welch is one of those students who’s gearing up to show his prize pigs. A seventh-grader at Herndon Magnet School, Mason is a courteous young man who loves football and raising swine.
