Strain: Trump TPP Order a Step Forward

Louisiana is a trade-reliant state, but Dr. Mike Strain, commissioner of Agriculture and Forestry, said President Trump’s decision to forsake a proposed pact with 11 Asian countries is encouraging. By executive order, Trump on Monday reversed the Obama administration’s Trans-Pacific Partnership efforts, which were never approved by Congress.
