Louisiana Horses Banned From OBS Sale

High among the worries of any horse event is the possibility of an outbreak of the potentially fatal equine herpes virus (EHV-1). The Ocala Breeders' Sales Co. recently issued a ban barring horses from Louisiana from its Winter Mixed Sale due to a recent outbreak of the virus at Fair Grounds Race Course and Slots.
