Louisiana-Wide Burn Ban Lifted After 'Extremely Dry Conditions'

Louisiana state authorities lifted a burn ban Monday afternoon, just over two weeks after restricting fires across most of Louisiana amid "extremely dry conditions." The ban was officially lifted at 4 p.m. Monday, State Fire Marshal Butch Browning and Agriculture and Forestry Commissioner Mike Strain said in a joint release.
